Best new place to eat: Mr Mikes

Mr Mikes offers everything you would want in a steakhouse their menu is both tasty and affordable and it is the best new place to dine in Prince Albert.

Since the restaurant first opened its doors in October of 2014 it quickly caught on as being a great place to enjoy a meal out with family or friends. The restaurant is a steakhouse built on a casual welcoming and non-judgemental culture and the staff at the restaurant do their best to make sure their guests feel at home.

“We really strive to take that extra step,” said Caitlin Cleghorn, assistant general manager at Mr Mikes in Prince Albert. “Our food quality is incredible everything is fresh and made in house.”

“I think we do a really good job with our staff, everyone is invested and everyone loves being here so when you come in you are going to see smiling people.”

Guests to Mr Mikes can take advantage of their signature steaks or Mike Burgers and at the same time enjoy a glass of their home branded wine and or beer. Right now guests can order off of the restaurants new Messy Mikes Menu, which offers a few new featured menu items that are offered for a limited time only.  On Thursday nights after 8 p.m. guests can also enjoy Lodge Night a weekly special that allows guests to enjoy 50 percent off the Quick Bites Menu while enjoying special prices on the Antler Ale, Big Horn Lager 22 oz steins and featured shooters.

“As far as other specials go we have lunch specials that run Monday to Friday and during the evening and the rest of the week we have our Daily Dose,” said Cleghorn.

At Mr. Mikes they promise to make your dining experience a positive one by providing not only a comfortable environment to dine in but also by serving only the freshest of ingredients.

“We are a steak house so when people think about Mr Mikes we want them to think about a nice juicy steak,” said Cleghorn.  “If want something really flavourful then we have a new york if you want something really tender then we have a filet.”
