Best Radio Station: Power 99 FM

Power 99 FM is Prince Albert and area’s  # 1 all hit music station. The station is also the 2014 Best of the Best winner for Best Radio Station.

Each morning listeners of the station can tune into and laugh with Chelsea and Trevor and then in the afternoon’s they can enjoy some great new tunes with Brandi.

“We try to have a plan as to where we are going every day and usually somehow that gets thrown of track,” said Trevor. “Something happens between the two of us and then all of sudden.”

“It blossoms into something else,” said Chelsea.

“It is a lot of fun. It is not serious and we get to be big dorks all day and have lots of laughs for the most part and we love it,” she added.

“And if you are entertained by what’s on the air it is off the air when the mics are shut off, that is what really make my day, that’s pretty entertaining,”  said Trevor.

Power 99 FM is known as the station that gives its listeners a little bit of everything. 

“Pretty much that is the best way to describe it,” said Trevor.

“We play a bit of hits and then we go into the retro jam at lunch, so we try to be a crowd pleaser,” said Chelsea.

“Then after 6 p.m. that is when al the new stuff that is starting to come out starts to play,” Trevor added.

But it’s the listeners that voted for Power 99 FM as the best radio station. And by the amount of comments the station receive on its Facebook page the support is evident. One Facebook comment includes:

The crew at Power 99 FM, are very appreciative to their listeners.

Trevor thanks his listeners for the cookies and Chelsea thanks everyone for being so supportive.

“We like positivity so when we get positivity on our Facebook page or on Instagram or during phone calls it just generates more positivity and more positive energy and  that’s not an act or a joke or radio fluff; we both just thrive on that,” said Trevor.
