Fenske said the main things that people need to think about when they are selling a home is to make sure they are priced right.

“It’s easy for an agent to do that because they can look at all of the other comparables,” he said. “And print off the seller’s comparable properties that have sold in the last three months, six months and the last year.”

On the opposite spectrum, when you are thinking of buying property Fenske said it is important to work out your price range.

“Once our clients have picked a price range we can show them those houses and we can ask them what their expectations are and what features they are hoping for in a home,” he said.

“And we can do the leg work to find those homes that have those features without them having to go all over town looking at those houses that do not have those features that they are interested in.”
