Firefighters’ charity hosting variety show in support of burn patients

Jan 25, 2019 | 12:55 PM

Local firefighters are helping to organize an all-ages variety show tonight in support of burn victims and their families.

The Prince Albert Firefighters Charity has partnered with CoHo Productions to host the show once again. This is the second year the charity is putting on the event, with proceeds in support of the provincial burn fund.

The show starts tonight at 7 p.m. at Plaza 88 in downtown Prince Albert, featuring a magic show, illusions, comedy and more.

“Our main purpose is to raise and distribute funds to help Saskatchewan burn patients and their families with treatment, care and rehabilitation,” Joel Perrault, burn fund representative with the local firefighters’ charity, said. “It goes to provincial health care for any burn patient that may be required.”
