Day 3 underway at Junior Curling Championship in P.A.

Team B.C.’s men continued their perfect record at the New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Prince Albert Monday.

In Pool A action Tyler Tardi’s Langley and Victoria Club foursome (4-0) defeated Newfoundland and Labrador (2-2) by a score of 12-4.

In other 9 a.m. draws Owen Purcell and his Nova Scotia team (2-1) were 9-7 winners over PEI (1-3), and the Alberta squad (2-2) skipped by Desmond Young were 10-2 victors over Yukon.

In women’s action Monday morning Sarah Daniels and team BC (3-1) improved their record with a narrow 8-7 win over Nova Scotia (2-1). Thea Coburn’s Ontario (2-2) line-up handed Nunavut (0-4) a 12-3 defeat.
