A warm smile, a cup of coffee and a listening ear. That’s the type of service you can expect to receive from Lawton Partners, Financial Planning and Wealth Management. This group of women, Pat Weir, Darcie Doell, and Laurianne Osmak have opened their new location in Prince Albert at 210-25th Street West.
Their motto is “client first” and practice it with every client interaction. The three partners draw from different areas of expertise, resulting in a well-rounded financial planning team who are passionate about serving their clients. They want every client to feel totally cared for, knowing you not only have a financial plan for life, but will be held accountable to that plan.
Pat Weir, Financial Planner, brings 40 years of expertise to Lawton Partners. She built her own brand on individualized service where she sees clients as real people with real dreams, not just account numbers. “Everyone has issues and people need help and someone to listen to,” said Weir. “The market is a psychological scale of ups and downs. Our job is to make sure you stay invested and never have permanent loss of capital.”
When dealing with personal finances, it requires an enormous amount of trust, which is the cornerstone of Weir’s business. “My clients trust me, and I don’t ever want to put that in jeopardy. I’ll do everything I can, it’s important to me,” Weir added.
Financial Advisor, Darcie Doell, joined Weir 11 years ago and became a Partner in 2014 and continues to love everything about her career. “There might not necessarily be something going on in the market as it is something in someone’s life. That’s why it’s so important we know our clients.” Said, Doell. “We really do just wear a lot of hats, and sometimes it’s just helping another person.”
Laurianne Osmak, Financial Advisor, joined the partnership 2 years ago and brings over 25 years of knowledge in insurance, financial services and business management. “Our mission is clients first and building relationships, even if just baby steps – we want to hear your story. We want to help.” Said Osmak. She adds, “There’s lots of different stages of people’s lives. When we’re dealing with couples, we really encourage joint meetings. We believe each person should know all the details.”
Lawton Partners strives to keep their clients, both new and multi-generational, by making sure they are informed. They go the extra mile. Whether it’s bringing out a portfolio manager to meet with clients individually, or regularly sending out publications listing reasons for buying and selling. All of this adds to peace of mind - knowing what you own and knowing there’s real people looking out for your best interests. Weir adds, “there’s comfort in knowing where your money is being invested and who’s actually doing it. I’m all for screening my investors, they have to feel right.”
Financial planning involves so much more than dealing with numbers. It involves having a heart for humanity. If you are seeking a financial plan, a second opinion, have retirement questions, goals, or need a plan to paying off your debt, Lawton Partners is ready to serve!
