Nov 10, 2011 | 12:50 PM

Odyssey Productions raised $2586.66 for the Canadian Cancer Society during the run of their production of Wit.

Adreanna Boucher, left, and Kim Morrall, right, presented Laurie Dent, manager of the Prince Albert Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society, with the cheque from Odyssey Productions.

Combining a love for the arts and for the community, Odyssey Productions used the stage to raise money for cancer research.

Wit is a Pulitzer Prize winning play that follows a woman’s story after she is diagnosed with late-stage ovarian cancer. The play was made into a movie in 2001 starring Oscar-winner Emma Thompson.
