Fourth person charged in 2017 death

The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed that a fourth person has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Duane Brett Ledoux.

Following inquiries by paNOW, the police service issued a news release Thursday morning confirming that Lenny Daniels is now charged in connection with Ledoux’s death in August 2017. paNOW was in court Dec. 13 for Daniels’ first court appearance on the charge, where his case was set over to Jan. 16.

Daniels is currently serving a sentence at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary on unrelated matters.

Ledoux’s body was found inside a home in the city in the 800 Block of 17th St. W. on Aug. 16, 2017. Three other people are also charged in the death, including Boden Umpherville, 35, William Chaboyer, 23, and Marrissa Bird, 29.
